Depression Diary

I've had a good few days. I'm able to do some small things, like cleaning the bathroom and a bit of vacuuming. I've also done a little more cooking.

What has helped is those around me helping me do the little things, like getting a website updated.

Recovery from depression, like anything, is best done in small, regular, steps. Today, this blog and a book review. Tomorrow, another book review and maybe something else.

The thing that helps the most at the moment is being able to sit down somewhere comfortable first thing in the morning and read.

There will be down days and some of them will be lower than the past, but the overall movement is up. Hope is rising.
